No time for tears - κατά πάσα πιθανότητα το νέο single των Pet Shop Boys. Είναι κατ' όσους τό έχουν ακούσει ένα από τα καλύτερα τραγούδια που έχουν γράψει το τελευταίο διάστημα. Περιλαμβάνεται στο soundtrack για το Θωρηκτό Ποτέμκιν του Eisenstein που τα Αγόρια έγραψαν το 2004 και παρουσίασαν μπροστά σε 20 χιλιάδες θεατές στην Trafalgar Square ενώ κάπου από πίσω τους προβαλλόταν η ταινία.

One of the most spectacular events of the year is coming to Germany:
Since many years the Pet Shop Boys are electronic-popculture superstars. Now they come to Germany with their newest project “Battleship Potemkin”. This extraordinary project combines a live performance of the Pet Shop Boys, accompanied by a 26-string orchestra of the Dresdner Sinfoniker, and a showing of the film classic “Battleship Potemkin”.
This high class event “Battleship Potemkin” was performed first on September 12th on the Trafalgar Square in London. More than 25,000 people came to experience the live performance of Pet Shop Boys’s and the Dresden Sinfoniker.
Sergei Eisenstein, who’s silent movie cult film “Battleship Potemkin” was produced in 1925, apparently said that he wanted a new soundtrack for the film every decade. As the Pet Shop Boys, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe, took on this difficult task it means that everyone can expect a spectacular mixture of audio and visual sensations. Over 20 years both creative heads are known as hit-guarantee of extremly danceable pop music and sold over 24 mio. albums worldwide.
“It's interesting how it changes your whole experience of the film” says Neil Tennant, “it's not so much background music as foreground music. The movie is a revolution!”
